Our NaHS offers a 70% minimum purity, but we can customize to 72% upon request. Typically, we provide our factory’s lab Certificate of Analysis (COA). Should you require, we can also provide samples for an SGS test.
Our synthesis involves an excess of hydrogen sulfide reacting with a specific concentration of alkali to directly produce liquid sodium hydrosulfide. This is concentrated to the desired levels, and solid sodium hydrosulfide is obtained from the liquid form through concentration and flaking.
The main reaction as below:
H2S + NaOH → NaHS + H2O
Na2S + H2S →2 NaHS
NaHS + 2H2O → NaHS·2H2O
